Description: ------------ there is still a dependencie on XML_RPC encoded in WebInstaller.php In Web.php the _no_delete_pkgs does not contain all packages the webfrontend depends on. You can find the patch on http://tias.ulyssis.org/patch/pear/frontend_web/0.5.1 or attached. Currently the pear code still depends on XML-RPC for update-channels (bug #10275). This can temporarely be fixed in the webfrontend with the 'dependencies_updateChannels' patch, also online and attached. g,T

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
