Description:

To facilitate automation/scripting and as a simpler alternative to "pear login", "pear channel-discover" should recognise HTTP-style login/passwords in channel names.
Test script:

pear channel-discover username:password@mychannel.example.com
Expected result:
----------------
The equivalent of the following is performed:
pear channel-discover mychannel.example.com
pear -d default_channel=mychannel.example.com login
[enter username/password]
Actual result:
--------------
The equivalent of the following is performed:
pear channel-discover mychannel.example.com

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).
If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly.
Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.
