Description: ------------ If mbstring.func_overload & 2 (strlen uses mb_strlen) and utf-8 charset downloads are broken, because instead of the filesize in bytes the number of utf-8 chars is used. The attached patch fixes that for any value of mbstring.func_overload and also for mbstring not available at all. The patch is also available from the eGroupWare SVN http://www.egroupware.org/viewvc/trunk/egw-pear/HTTP/WebDAV/Server.php?r1=23604&r2=23886 I hope you accept the patch, as we would like to avoid maintaining an own version. eGroupWare needs mbstring.func_overload=7 to support multibyte charsets like utf-8. Anyway thanks for such a usefull class :-) Ralf

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
