It would be great if the bug tracker would keep history of who has changed what in a bug (beside comments).
I suggest adding a type flag to the bug comment table and log all changes as "history" comments. Since change emails are sent out already, this text could be logged in the history comments.
The web interface could get a button to show history comments.

I've decided we'll embed the change history into the comments, at the top, even when I don't make a comment but change something it will generate a comment just for that.
That leaves out the whole messing of a new DB table and such + it's simple :)

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).
If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly.
Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.
