Description: ------------ The MD5 sum for some files described in /usr/share/php/.registry/pear.reg is wrong. Example, for PEAR/Command/Package.php: md5sum should be cb6f4b8cf4f297200d1ddb35b768d65f (in pear.reg) Installed on the system : 719301e92c63206e1f206b406b88db65 /usr/share/php/PEAR/Command/Package.php From the source package (same version): cb6f4b8cf4f297200d1ddb35b768d65f /tmp/PEAR-1.7.2/PEAR/Command/Package.php Explanation : the md5sum for pear.reg is calculated on template file with no release version set but the installed file on the system has a version set : 41c41 < * @version Release: @package_version@ --- > * @version Release: 1.7.2

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
