The list of packages the package depends on should be shown on the main package page, right of "Packages that depend on ...". Only for the current stable version, maybe with a text "this is the dependency list of Package-2.1.3"

I must remain a bit sceptical about this one, we have soo much information on the page already.
Perhaps this is a possibility after we get the new design.

Shouldn't be *too* tricky to write the inverse of:

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).
If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly.
Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.
