Description: ------------ The PrefManager currently supports only MDB2 as a Database Layer. Please find a Package which supports both DB & MDB2. Basically the changes are: - check for $dsn being a subclass of mdb2. - Load a proxy which does a simple redirect for the DB-functions used in the PrefManager. - Replace DB::isError() with PEAR::is Errror() You can download the new files here: http://extern.bippesbrandao.de/pear/PEAR_PrefManager.zip

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PEAR itself. For a list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PEAR, please visit http://pear.php.net/support/ as this bug system is not the appropriate forum for asking support questions. Thank you for your interest in PEAR. Not the sort of change i'm going to do to Auth_PrefManager. Auth_PrefManager2 will have proper containers and able to support multiple backend access methods.
