Think it's good step to have some XUL tools in PEAR. Think to have value as a tool this will need to generate JavaScript as well, so that as the price of some flexibility for end users, they can solve problems quickly, without in depth knowledge of XPCom etc. One example might be to combine it's use with PEAR::XML_RPC so a single PHP script generates an XML_RPC server plus the client side JavaScript needed to access the server from XUL. |
