I'd like to see an engine like Savant in PEAR, but I wouldn't like to see yet another template engine in PEAR. I'm in favor of the proposal to use something like Savant as a base engine that all other engines inherit from to extend its functionality based on the needs for a specific use-case. So, my +1 is just for the (unlikely) case of the authors of all template packages working together :-/ |
